I've shipped several sets of Wixom bags and other
types of hard bags for Guzzis (including ones with
chrome rails and racks) from the San Francisco area to
the east coast and they cost no more than $30 total.
To do it safely, I've always had to ship them in
seperate boxes filled with shipping peanuts, but the
$90 bucks is CRAZY!!! He's probably using one of the
UPS Shipping stores. He can buy two nice boxes for $5
each, a tube of peanuts for $5, pack them himself,
then go to FEDEX or US Postal, all for 1/2 the price.
