Actually, life isn't too bad over here as a civilian. We have hot and |
just not all at once. The foods pretty good at the mess halls, but I eat
about half my meals as MRE's.
I've been at Camp Anaconda, near Balad, Iraq, for about two weeks now. |
would hear mortar shells landing somewhere on the base. They's usually stop
after the army answered with a 155mm cannon. It's been fairly quiet since
then, or else I've just slept through them all. Been really quiet since
Ramadan started on the 27th.
All I can say is I'm looking forward to getting back home in a year so I |
and putting my Ambassador on the road again, finally.
