I have used high temp paint in the past and it holds up really well and
like John said, can easily be touched up. I have pictures of 2 motors I
have done this way if you want to see them.

I have seen it done, but I would never do it to one of my own. I would
STRONGLY advise NOT to coat these. You want to dissipate heat, not
retain heat by putting an insulator over it! . Powder coating can be a
great thermal and electrical insulator. If you must have it coated,
use a thin film of wet paint. |

Has anyone had their cylinders powder coated with success? Are the temps
within reason for longevity and no damage to bore? I have a set of
Gilardoni nikisil's (sp?) that I would like to see in black. Any advice
is appreciated.
