I'm pretty sure chroming is expensive. Thaty's why I'm trying to find one
that isn't too expensive and does good work.
A while back soemone mentioned that there was some powder coating that
simulated chrome. Is that expensive too? Anyone try it?
Any DIY chrome kits available? (doubtful)
Thanks.

For those of us who love our bikes (like Rich) but don't want to put museum money into them, what alternatives exist? I know some have painted the "chromed" area and outlined with striping, but I like the shiny stuff. Has anyone tried a chrome or alumnium veneer? This might also cover dings. What about chromium paint? Anyone around the Ft Lee NJ area? Thanks! _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8: Get 6 months for $9.95/month. http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup |
