Mike,

Not really an expert on this but I think you will need to adjust the brake
pads (ie sand them down) so the trailing end makes contact with the drum
first. You sure you don't have the actuators backwards? :-) There is some
stuff out there that supposidly quiets brake squeel too.

Hi, all. I bought some softer-compound front brake
shoes from one of the guzzi shops earlier this summer.
I have about 1000 miles on them now, and they brake
well, but screech like you've never heard. They really
howl. Any suggestions on how to quite them down?
(other then greese, of course!)
