I must disagree. A successful host has to understand the expectations of his
guests and either provide for them or let them know what to expect in advance so
they can plan accordingly. Keith apparently assumed that people knew what
they'd be getting into and many of them simply did not.

I caught up with old friends and met new ones. I got to try out the new Guzzi's and explore the beautiful area. I did not think the rally deserved the write up in MGNOC and I felt that the criticism was undeserved. Some people are not able to travel without all the comforts from home -they should either trailer their bikes behind a big winabago (not sure of the spelling) or just stay at hotels. They should not spoil everyone's fun by complaining if there are no 4 star toilets next to their tent. Some of us do appreciate the beauty of camping in the woods - I believe this is the point of staying in the Adirondacks. Elisabeth 72 Eldo 98 Tiger |
