Thanks Ross for your informative answers.
If I'm going to install them I'd like to go the route of using relays.
Anyone have a wiring diagram or schematic I could follow using relay(s)?

1. Yamaha YHA 205s look good and work well. They are period pieces and were used to replace the CEV switches. Any Japanese bike junkyard should have them. They were available new 10 years ago. 2. Moto Guzzi Classics and MG Cycles should have the brackets, if someone on the list doesn't have spares. Aside, Lucas lights were specified by Guzzi but I believe after the Ambo run. Both LAPD Ambos I have had had Stanley for the turn signals, it may have been whether the particular dealer carried British or Japanese bikes. I have since replaced them with Dietz, more appropriate for the LAPD. 3. Wire from the diagram in Chiltons, Haynes, or the original manual from Premier. Very easy to follow. I can supply a copy if you need it. If you wish to use relays, the best route and something I plan but have not done yet, I am sure someone can supply instructions. Regards, Ross |
