Yeah - check w/Mark @ Classics. Also check Harpers. Not sure about the 750 heads but you are probably better off totally reworking your heads. That way you know everything up there is good - may not be the case with unknown E-Bay purchased heads. The welded insert is technically sound and results in a very functional head - avoid quick fixes. |
What is a "double nut setup"? |
Jack, that was what I called the "weld-in alum insert" that I think moto international has. Rick from carlsbad N.M. had a 850 that looked like it just came off the show room floor at the N.M rally last week end. he had what looked like a double nut set up on it but couldn't tell me the history of it since it was that was when he got the bike. It looked like a great set up much stronger then this brass ring threaded into cast alum. mike denver 71 ambo
