I regret selling my Ambo everyday! Got married and had to sell her to payThat
for some of the costs. Maybe I should have sold my blood, a kidney or
something instead. That's why nobody has seen me at any of the rallies.
will change once I have Daisy done. My advice, stick with it no matterwhat
and the rewards will start showing themselves soon.at

Subject: RE: What did I miss? Patience is on E-BayHere's a hint Keith. If you want bids you needed to start opening bid
bid$1,000. You can put your reserve at anything you want but you need tostartthe bidding frenzy and it just isn't going to happen with an opening
thenof$6,000. If you have watched Ebay for any length of time you wouldunderstandhow this works. Some guy says 'Oh Yea!' I'd give em $1,500 for it,
onsomeguy says hey its worth $2,000 and by the time it's done your retired
anhavelikeisland in the Caribbean. Well maybe not but you get the point.
I think you should just do like I did, owning somewhat finicky bikesasomethingLoop and a Ducati, is to keep the Loop and buy a H@nda or BMW orsomethingelse so that when it's patience's time of month you always havetoride. Just my unbiased opinion worth the magnetic bits it's written on;-).

I hear ya, I've been vomiting on this board for 3 years now, y'all
morningbeen putting up with me. I'm on the fence with selling her, which is
why I priced her high on ebay. I've gotten 727 hits as of this
Moe'swith 0 bids. Not sure why some bikes get bidding frenzies, i.e.,
hasbikes where people run up the bids into the low teens, and why mine
paintgotten none (it's not as nice cosmetically as those total restored
mechanically).jobs Moe does but is clean and original, but just as nice
seeStill a few days left though. I am planning on taking a ride up to
realEric Green, The Guzzi Guy up in Staten Island to see if she is running
her best, I think she still may need some carb tweeking or timing
adjustment. If he gets her running like a bandit, hmmmmm, I may just
have to keep her! Been offered a few trades from Beemer owners, a
reallynice 78 Smoke Red R100RS + $2000 for my bike, an 80 Smoke Red R100RT
with 15K original miles on it + $2500 for my bike, or possibly a 90
K100LT all done up for close to equal swap for my bike. Makes me
thesethink if this is a prime opportunity to get back what I have invested
(around $6K) into this bike, get a nice Beemer, plus cash back in my
pocket. The Beemers are also unique machines, not too many around
Ambo, parts, but the Guzzi is super rare. Decisions, decisions. Will keep
you posted.

You have definately had to put up with a lot of pain and sufferingPatience. I have had the good fortune to have had few problems
mytimestorybikesso I can't be in your shoes. However please allow me to pass on athatmy dad once told me:
He owned a late 50's Olds way back when. There was a period of
bewhenforallhe seemed to be doing was getting things fixed on it. This went onquiteawhile and he was at his breaking point. Just as he was ready to
perioddonewith the "money pit" and sell it off he then went into a long
toranwhere
all the car would do is run. I think I remember him saying that hethepossible
car for over two years with no problems whatsoever.
Perhaps you are at that point? You have done just about everythingto that bike. I am surprised it is not as reliable as many of the
Looper's
bikes.
Good luck with the sale...she is a beautiful bike.
