<html><div style='background-color:'><DIV>As the punch list on the ambo gets shorter, one important task is rebuilding my master clyinder, because, well, brakes are good. I have run into a problem as there is an unidentified gook in the cylinder at the front (on both sides of where the bolt goes). Looks like an old gasket or insta-gasket. I have tried brake cleaner, acetone, q-tips and wrapping a screwdriver in paper towel to clean it out. No dice. I am trying not to damage the cylinder. Any suggestions? </DIV>

<DIV>Also, in trying to get the rust out of my gas tank before using a POR-15 kit, I dropped a bunch of bolts in to shake the rust loose. DON'T DO THIS. I am now fishing with a magnet as the bolts don't come out easy due to the filler tube. It is taking a while. Let my stupid mistake save you time. Washburn suggested using a chain because it is easier to fish out. </DIV>
