Mike,
Not sure really what you are asking but I just had that bearing out
replacing the push rod o rings so I can tell you what was in there.
Between the inner and the outer is a ball bearing cage holidng about 7-8
ball bearings. Both of my bodies were grooved. Nothing else.
Hope this helps...Ian

A vendor sent me the following information regarding the clutch rod inner body on the 4-speed transmission: "The original clutch release bodies fit the original 3/4 hole and the inner has a stud that the bearing fits over and keeps it centered, then the other one (outer) is flat on both ends and has a groove machined into it for the old bearing." My inner does NOT have this stud. It has a groove, just like the outer body does. Has anyone ever seen an inner body with this stud that the vender is describing? I have particular reasons for needing to know if this information is correct. -Mike (69 Ambo) ===== M.Jones, student of philosophy and religion at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
