That's a possibility. It would be controlled by altering the ramp or peak of
the distributor cam lobes. Concurrently, the flywheel timing marks would be
placed so that spot-on for the left also indicated spot-on for the right,
even though one was designed to spark X degrees earlier or later than the
other. To the mechanics eye it wouldn't make any difference because the
marks would still be lined up.
Do I think Guzzi designed such? Nah.
