I agree about the splines and stuff (mine are still fine 50,000 miles fter adding the cush drive as when I put it on), but in Seattle that brake starts to get funky in just a few weeks. The pivots gets stiff, and then they're the classic off or locked (especially on wet roads) 2LS rear brake.
I ride almost daily in the wet from Oct. to May, so I'm not really happy with them. Guess I'll have to put on a rear disc.
