Hi Gavin,
The headlight buckets are deeper by an inch or so and the toolboxes have
knobs instead of locks. If you're interested, I have a pair of NOS toolboxes
complete with knobs I'll sell you.
Here's a link to pics of my early '69 Ambo which is basically just a V7 with
an extra 54cc and a very crusty V7 I thought about buying if the owner ever
gets real with the price.

Cheers, Charlie.

Hiya Loopy people, I just bought a rough V7 off ebay. (Sorry to anyone on this list I might have bid against). http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2409566912&ca |
The frame number is 2587 and the engine number is 1223. How do they line up with other peoples bikes?? Please have a look and tell me what you guys think? It is a 67 or a 68? I think it's a 1967 because of the starter, bolts holding the rocker cover down, no ribs on the rocker cover, the flat seat and the lack of ribs on the crankcase. BUT I notice that the ribs come down lower on this bike than in some pictures I have seen of VERY early V7 machines. Anyone got any of the parts I need to complete the machine???Headlight, carbs, air cleaner, RH sidecover, toolboxes, tail light, tail light bracket etc. Regards from a excited New Zealand loop Guzzi owner Gavin '51 Superalce '62 Falcone '76 Falcone Sahara '67?
