know the feeling as I just recently bought a 74 Eldo. I have an extra air
cleaner I can send your way if you send me your address. It's not pretty,
has a few dents but I'm sure you can get it all cleaned up real nice.

The frame number is 2587 and the engine number is 1223. How do they line up with other peoples bikes?? Please have a look and tell me what you guys think? It is a 67 or a 68? I think it's a 1967 because of the starter, bolts holding the rocker cover down, no ribs on the rocker cover, the flat seat and the lack of ribs on the crankcase. BUT I notice that the ribs come down lower on this bike than in some pictures I have seen of VERY early V7 machines.
