Ian, I have been to the "Cruso" rally for years, even the year that the bridge was swept away by the water and the rally was held in a Koa campgroung. Always stayed in cabin #1 by the bridge, so I could hear the Guzzis come in and out through the wooden bridge..the sound is pretty Cool. it is a very nice rally put up by very nice people, Mark and barbara. I will try to attend this year. About 4 or 5 years ago they had a lot of Loopframes at the Rally and Mark took a picture of the Loops line up. If I find the picture I will scan it and share it with you. I just email Ken and I asked him to keep me posted about the "Cold Pisgah Rally", We enjoyed it and I just told Sarah we might go again this year if he has it. see you soon, Roberto.
See you soonRoberto. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ian Adkins" <ianad-@linkamerica.net> To: <Loopfram-@topica.com> Sent: Monday, March 17, 2003 7:44 AM Subject: RE: Rides in Blue Ridge NC
Roberto,
The MGNOC Rally in August (1st) is held at a motorcylce campground in Caruso....very near Mount Pisgah. That's the one you want to attend if you can only attend one.
Of course if you can get away the Rally that Ken is talking about will be better this year....more Loops there and I bet the weather will be warmer too.
Yeah...I remember that nice warm room you had....how could I forget. I
even
drank your BEER and received some lessons on horse derby stuff. A good time...
I hope we get a chance to get together this summer....Ian

Ken, what do you refer to as the " Mount Pisgah Rally ", is that the
the
same get togheter than John, Ian and me attended last year in very
frigid
temperatures , three loopframes..Very Cold weather , I saw your tent up in a campsite but you never showed up. I might be up to do it again. It was kind of different. It was the first ride for my Ebay Eldo and it did pretty good. I had the advantage over Ian and John...I had a nice warm room at the Pisgah Inn..and let Ian borrowed my tent for the night. it was the fastest time for putting up a tent... I have ever seen...it was so cold. Roberto.

I'm always up for a ride as well. As far as I know John will
be doing the
Mount Pisgah rally again this year, I will talk to him this week & see
