If you do a LOT of the work yourself $2500 -$4000 is a good number . If
you farm most of it out and go full house $10,000 isn't hard to spend !

The Loops a great , charm and ease of maintenance. The early Tontis also
have a practical side that is hard to beat.
GUZZIS RULE !

 Hey All,

Correct me if I am wrong but a rough number for a decent restoration
(doing
a lot of the assembly yourself) runs about $2500-$3000. That includes
purchase price of the "barn queen".

I remember a few years ago I could have bought a decent running Eldo for
$1200.

To me what will be significant is when the supply of restorable Loops
disappear. Not a lot of people are interested in a $10k restored bike
but
lots are interested in fixing them up and getting them running.

Could we call the Loop the "garage mechanic's" bike of choice?

Though I wouldn't rule out a

Thanks again for all your help.

The Guzzibug has a mighty strong venom!!!

Keep your eyes open and stop at yard sales. An early Guzzi will turn up
for you......
