When I bought my bike (1972 Eldorado LAPD) the p.o. kindly included an extra fuel tank as the original tank had a large dent in one side. The tank that was on the bike when I got it has a screw on cap. The screw on cap will not tighten down on the second tank. The inside of the fuel filler neck is different. I am having the spare tank painted but need to know what kind of a gas cap to get to fit it. Thanks as always.
