Harpers also carries a windshield mounting bracket that I have used for
several years with no problems...you don't have to cut into instrument panel
to use

Hope this helps

Subject: Windshield mounting questions
Rex: There's a mounting bracket available that has a ring at the top that is attached under your fork plug, and mounts to the outside of the pinch bolt on your lower triple tree. You'll have to cut a notch in your instrument panel for clearance if it's not there already. I'm using this to run a National Cycle Harley style windshield on my '71 Ambo. I think the Eldo should be the same. It puts the distance between the mounting points of your windshield at 13-1/2". If that's what you have for your Memphis shades shield you should be OK. There's a picture at http://myweb.core.com/photos/spajohn@raex.com/71Ambo It doesn't detail the bracket, but you get the general idea. John Prusnek

was right!). I was wondering if anyone knew of a mounting kit that would
allow me to put this on my '72 Eldorado LAPD. I don't find anything listed
on the Memphis Shades website for this bike. Does National Cycle still make
mounting brackets and if so do you think they would fit this windshield.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Rex Clark
