For all the loopers out there rebuilding with stripped cases, don't
forget to degrease and clean the case with Eagle One ecthing cleaner.
I read the posts in the archives and picked up a quart of Sodium
Silicate from a local chemical supply.
Case looked great after one treatment. I got greedy and decided to do a
second shot with a deluted solution. The case just fits in the oven
with the studs in it. another 15 minutes and I can pull it out and
hopefully the oven is cooled when my wife gets home. No smell either
when baking (275 for 30 minutes)
