When I got home yesterday, I grabbed a beer and went out to the garage.
I took a good look at why the swin-arm wasn't just lifting out. I saw
that the long side was hitting the left side toolbox. I hadn't removed
that toolbox becouse it was switched over to hold the electrical fuse
panel. A really nice job. So I took the bolts out of the tool box, swung
it out of the way, and lifted the swing-arm right out. Easier that
falling off a log!
The carrier bearing was good, swing-arm bearings are good. Now, I have
to remove the ding-dang ACME floorboards!!
