I've always used them. Provides for a little more stability for the header
pipe. Would love to get some aluminum ones for my project, but just bought
the chrome ones from MG Cycle.

Subject: headpipe to frame clamps
Hi all, Very close to starting the Eldo. Does no one ever use the chromed steel header to frame tube clamps? I never see them on any bikes. I had mine plated and ame getting ready to put them on and just wondered. Joe Kenny makes some cool aluminum versions. Anyone use them instead? 73 Eldo (T-minus) 78 T3/949 |
