I guess I've been pretty lucky. My four running Guzzis all have the
tractor battery and I haven't seen any corrosion around the battery pan
or sidecovers. I usually run a minimal solo seat so maybe there is
reasonable air flow through there to prevent any damage. The Eldo has
over 3 years with one.
Granted if the regulator ever stuck to full charge there could be a real
mess.
