JB I have not met you. The comment was for John Sutton whom I met this early
spring at the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just wanted to share my opinion with
him.
Roberto.

I ride year round. -20f to 105f or higher depending where I went. When the roads are salty, I kickstart my SR500. I've done this for many years so I know oil effectiveness. Synthetics are much easier to live with in the cold. We can argue all day on long term wear stuff because not a soul has bitched about a main bearing wearing out because of using a specific brand of oil. All we can relate to are oils we like. I don't care about brand, I ride in weather that can hit -20f even on kickstart bikes. A syn 15w50 will kickstart easier than a 5w30 and that is all I know on this subject!!! JB |
