I admitedly don't have the constitution that JB has, nor do I have electric, or even heavy, gloves. Cheers, J |
I've done a lot of year round riding way before I bought an electric
vest which I only bought for a January Chicago/Colorado/Chicago ride I
did a few years back.
My Reima leather snowmobile mittens are ten times warmer than any
high-end fingered glove I've ever tried.
I have my T-3 and red Ambo set up with the same windshields and leather
saddlebags over the gastank but the Ambo has a lot less turbulance and
is warmer in the below freezing temps.
If it's snowing or the roads are wet with salt, I use my winterized hard
tail (swingarm rusted up from previous years in this shit) SR500
equipped with Looper fenders, enduro tires and 40 coats of farm
implement paint over everything. That thing rides nice in the stuff.
Vest doesn't work well on it though.
Two winters ago with the Eldo/sidehack was the most fun in the snow but
the salt was too hard on everything.
