If you are using a cam made on the later style core you are all set.
Should work fine. The drive on the front can be removed with grand
finesse or racer brutality and the results will be the same .
Are you using a dual plug head ? If not ,why not? Do the rules allow
dual plugs ?

I'm trying to finalize plans I'm making to the race bike over the winter. I'm looking at putting an aftermarket cam in the Ambassador, which means I need to put in a dual point distributor. I have heard people talk of putting a dual point in loopframe motors without having to change anything other than the fit at the generator, I'm not running a generator so interference there is not a problem. The question is, will the dual point go in the Ambassador. I have conflicting info on this from reputable sources. Thanks Ken |
