I stand corrected on the stripe issue...I had taken my info on pictures from
Greg's book...after looking at some of our original ads..

I see that they are indeed NOT even....Fred?Dave O. if you pull up the
mssells site and look under Guzzi ads you'll see what I mean....

Naw man, I think it would be fine. In fact, I bet it would look better
the stripes lined up. I think you should do what you think is right. Myonly
point was if you were trying to please the judges, it would be a shame tohe
worry about exact placement (alignment) just to find out at a later date
that they didn't come that way originally. I've seen Tom's bike- in fact,
let me ride it once on a Boy's Night Out with him & his buddies. That bike
was a time capsule-all original.
