Since the brackets always weem to break at the holes, I think I will try
to use studs/locknuts and the welded bracket, if there's clearance for
the oil line. No way this guy is breaking at the holes!

Well, the plate is welded on the inside, so the dimension between the
block and generator is unchanged.

I would use the grade 8 studs and lock nuts with the stock bracket...
