Hi Fred,
To replace the small internal seal you will be removing the ring gear/drive
hub assy and it's support plate. New gaskets would be needed there.
I believe you will have to remove the needle bearing to get to the seal but
I am not sure. Haven't had to do that in quite some time (knock wood).
Make sure to keep track of the shims for the ring gear support. They are
critical to the alignment of the gears.

I was hoping I could just change the big seal (and maybe the small internal one), flush out the insides, clean up the outside and use new gaskets on the sump, etc. Or would you all recommend pulling off the drive plate, using new gaskets there, etc.?
