Hey Chris,
I just did some reading from Venolia (74 Eldo big bore) and they
mention ring groove depths. Apparently some ring grooves are different
depths than others. Why not check the distance between the inside and
outside of the ring (it's depth?) with the orig. and against the piston.
Did the other side go in yet? Maybe check the rings that fit with a
broken one. The rings may fit in the cylinder bore and it may fit on the
piston (kinda sorta), but maybe not together. Sounds stupid but what the
heck?
