If you're pissed, stop!
You need to be calm and cool. Put a ring in the bore and check the ring
gap.
If all is cool, it should go. I've done all my jug installs by hand. I
have the piston at top dead, slide the jug down the studs. Kind of tuck
the ring in starting from the opposite side of the rod notch. Then push
the ring in through the rod notch when I come around. Sometimes I put a
hint of downward pressure on the jug using my chin.
Slow and easy does it.
