Doing this to a loop frame Eldo with a single disc on the front already is not a major problem, just get a spacer made for the second disc and bearing on the front and lower the bottom fender brace. You will have to drill new front engine mount holes as the newer engine mount hole is higher on the engine. Mounting the rear master cylinder can be a challenge but I have seen it mounted in the tool box. you will also have to find a way to mount the trans oil cooler. If you do not have a disc brake front end and you want to keep the Eldo fender you will have to get very creative as these parts are hard to find. Unless....... you just keep the drum brake on the front end then you will need a rear master cylinder from a bike with out linked brakes. And as previously noted you can use the convert front end with a little machine work. Bottom line........if you really want to do it .......it can be done!

Suppose I had a line on an old convert, what would be the issues related to putting it into a loopframe? Change the front engine cover to the old generator style? will the swing arm and rear drive fit and would the convert fork fit the loop steering head? thanks for the expert knowledge. fotoguzzi
