Can't trust a one of 'em out there. I've seen alot of shit that makes me
shake my head and wonder just how the human race has survived all these
years.

Now i'm pissed! Apparently a 16 year old teenybopper who
just got her license last week ran a red light in front of
Carroll. What a fucking shame. All the more reason to
keep your guard up and ride like everyone's out to get
you.
I know I'll never feel cpmpletely secure on my
bike...maybe that's a good thing.

I learned that a friend of mine was killed last night as he rode home from work on his HD. Y'all most likely have never heard of Carroll Setzer, since he wasn't a member of this list, but he was the first person I met after I got my Eldo that rode a Guzzi too. He loaned me the first copy of Guzziology and the original owners manual i ever saw. He had a fully dressed 1974 LAPD Eldo that he sold to get the HD he was riding last night. He also has had several other Eldos and Ambos thru the years. I don't know the details, but apparently he T-boned a Chevy Blazer at an intersection...don't know if he ran a light or if the other driver did. Carroll had ridden all his life and I would think he wouldn't make stupid mistakes, but who knows. Anyway, I'll miss Carroll a lot. Even though we weren't real close, I hate losing a member of my community to a bike wreck. On a positive note, Carroll's death is the first motorcycle fatality this summer. Pray that no more go down.
