Sounds like a short, check in the brake light circuit for an open wire. I
would start under the rr fender. As you ride the open part of the wire ends
up rubbing on metal and blows the fuse. If it was just a loose ground wire
the fuse wouldn't blow.

Subject: Eldo brake light wiring
I have been having problems with my Eldo rear brake light circuit
blowing fuses. I put a new fuse in, squeeze the brake lever, and the
brake light illuminates. Step on the brake pedal, brake light
lights. Hold the lever or the brake pedal for 30 seconds, the brake
light continues to shine. Take the bike out for a ride, and when I
return the brake light isn't working. Open the headlight bucket, and
the fuse is burned out. The taillight works, it's just the brake
light circuit. Any suggestions? Where exactly is the ground for the
brake light wiring, anyhow?
Thanks,
