Don,
I've heard that your problem may also be caused by a weak spring or clog in the oil pressure regulator. I forgot where the original info came from. Still check the breather box, but this might also be something to check if you are also checking the lines in the clutch/flywheel area. The pressure regulator is located in the crankcase, it is at the rear (flywheel end) of the line that crosses the crankcase and is bolted front and rear.
