I have trouble with getting into 1st or even down to
2nd when coming to an abrupt stop when in 4th gear . Seems I have to rock
the shift lever and then engage
to desired gear in order to downshift when at a stand still.
Anyone else have that problem?

Mine misses third sometimes. I found that if I held the
shift lever down until I'd completely released the clutch
it helped a lot.
