I'm glad that was the problem, something simple. I used to ride old
Triumphs, they had a 'tickler' button on the carb that you pushed to
vent the air in the bowl to fill it up. Same thing. The air displaced by
the gas has to go somewhere. It's like farting in an elevator,
everyone will leave at the next floor to make room for it. I don't
know about any internal vent, you should be fine.

Thanx for the tip! Will check the left side petcock after draining some fuel out again, but I think it is fine now. Hope it holds up and I won't have to go searching for the internal vent.
