When I rebuilt my carbs, the bike wouldn't run good at
all. I tightened up the intake bolts and the carb
clamp...no change. The next day I tightened the top
cap..just a little bit...and it was a whole new bike...was
easily tuned and I really haven't done much fiddling since
then. You need the gaskets...the top cap is really
leakable. Just my $.02
