this would fail an MOT test in the UK & bike would be off the road 'till it
was fixed. in reality though: no big deal is right.

Hey Ross, Had this happen on a Yamaha I used to own, This comes from ALOT of long distace riding in a straight line(highway), What happens is the steering head bearings "pound" a valley into the race. The bearing that helped this mates with it and gets stuck. Not a big deal depending on how bad it is. I would think that not having the steering tight enough would cause this. |
of like denting a peice of wood with a hammer, on a smaller scale and over more time of course. So two questions have come up (I'm sure there'll be more): 1. If I don't add additional brake lights, is there a replacement bulb |
that would significantly increase the lumens without melting the fuse |
or the CEV housing? 2. For the first time I have noticed a bind in the steering at dead |
I just recently got Stephen Brenton's tooth spanners for the lockrings |

would like to keep him happy. Thanks for any help in advance. Regards, Ross -- K. Ross Raymond Arizona USA '71 LAPD Ambassador '69 Triumph T100S Norton hopeful 1998 Ariel (my daughter, after the Sq.4, not the mermaid) |
