Hi Ross,
I've been using a Halogen 1157 bulb (H1157) in my '69 Ambos taillight for 3 years now without any problem. They're available from Dennis Kirk and JC Whitney (and I'm sure other places also) for around $10. JCW also sells an LED light "bar" approx. 5" long x 1" high for $8 that could be mounted to augment the taillight also. Cheers,
Charlie

I am finally putting my full attention to getting my LAPD on the road. So two questions have come up (I'm sure there'll be more): 1. If I don't add additional brake lights, is there a replacement bulb type that would significantly increase the lumens without melting the fuse block or the CEV housing? |
