I put the bike up on 4X4's on the center stand. This just barely gives
enough clearance. Also, if you are running a 120 rear tire, you have to
deflate it so it can compress a bit. Once the axle is out and the wheel on
the ground, I cock it a bit to the left and diagonal. Slides out easily
then.
