Something similar happened to my fiancee's dad. He was riding in deer
infested western NY. He saw one on the side of the road and slowed down a
little. When he got nearer, it ran at him and jumped. He thought he was a
goner, but it went between him and the fairing. Lightly scraped his face.
Sure was lucky, as you guys were.
Some of my redneck buddies could probably put a dent in the Wisconsin deer
population if you'd put them up for a few months. ;)
