David,
My friend had a problem with his 74 Eldo when warm - his problem was
vapor lock. I had read about this problem in a book, and when he told
me that the bike would stall and have a hard time starting up again
after it was warm, I asked him if he had recently filled up or if the
tank was full. After thinking about it, he realized this problem
happened always after filling up. When he popped off the gas cap, you
could hear the rush of air, then the fuel would flow again through the
fuel lines. Not sure if this is your problem but figured I'd pass this
on. Check that your carbs are synched also, hot on one side is not
unusual, but perhaps your running too rich on that side?

My Eldo is very difficult to start after it is warm. Also, I seem to notice that the RH cylinder is hotter than the LH while just running in my garage. Airflow should be the same on both, as I am using a large fan for equal air flow. Any ideas?
