could you define "hard start" for us?
does it crank easily but not quite catch? one cyclinder catches then the
other does? or does it just slowly turn over?

Also, I seem to notice that the RH cylinder is hotter than the LH while just running in my garage. Airflow should be the same on both, as I am using a large fan for equal air flow. Any ideas?
