Upon further review...I think that the Gilardoni kit I put on that side, did
not have an oil scraper ring. I probably did not check that side, as I did
the left, and just put on the cylinder with piston without taking it apart.
My compression rings were fine, and I looked over the entire bottom end and
found no pieces at all. Only very fine metallic flakes from the new
cylinders. Anyone think this could be so? Also, the advice I received on
using gasket sealant on the head gasket will never be followed again....its
like gluing the cylinder and head together permanetly, and forget using the
gaskets again....at least I am learning. Thanks for all the help.
