David, I thought the correct way to retorque your heads was to back off one bolt at a time (about 1/8 or 1/4 of a turn) and then retorque. Use the same torque sequence as the manual - I recall Ian mentioning the sequence to me but I don't recall it. It may not be that important, but what is important is that one uses a criss-cross pattern - something like 12, 6, 2, 8, 4 and 10 o'clock. Proper torque is 29 ft lbs I believe. But you don't want to loosen up all the bolts and begin torquing them down nor do you want to just put a torque wrench on each already tightened bolt and just retorque. Any other thoughts out there?
