The dellorto manual (I forgot I owned one) also gives the recommendation
that the float arm be parallel to the carb body. This is closer at
18.5mm than at 23.5mm.

Anyone know the correct float levels for the PHF 36 pumpers off a LeMans
1? The haynes book vaguely suggests 23.5mm, and Godfrey's website says
17-18mm.
