Hi Ian,
Haven't had to buy any covers yet, I keep winning one as a prize each year at
a local classic bike event. The one I've won twice is the Dowco Legend. Dowco
describes it as "inexpensive coverage" (the average retail is around $30-40
depending on size, but on sale in moto-mag ads for $28-36) and I've found them
to be good enough for me. They're water-resistant nylon, red and silver in
color, and don't take up much space when stowed on the bike. Great to cover
the bike during the night at rallies or in the garage. I have a long padlock
that I loop (there's that word!) through the grommets along the bottom to
discourage evil doers and to keep the wind from possibly taking off with it. I
also won a Dow Protector one year. Nice, heavy, cotton cover - but it's for
indoor use only! Oh well, need a cover for those stationary BMWs anyway. :-)
Cheers,

Charlie

Now that I am finally on my way to haiving my bikes back to their polished
ways I was wondering if anyone has purchased a decent cover for them.
