Sorry about that last post(or lack there of)....
Well, after much trial and tribulations, I got the BMW-VW running like a
top!
I took my Uncle at his word that he had 'recently' been thru the carbs.
Not that he hadn't, but I shoulda looked anyway! After several
cleanings, I got it running like a screaming eagle! It will start with
just one kick!
So next week I'll get it licensed and insured(no smog test for this old
of bike)!
