used to put a sealant type finish on an already clean
case by application, then baking.
Perhaps you were thinking of this. Otherwise maybe
there is a cleaning product that works this way also.
I don't know about it.

I am doing a rebuild of my '74 LAPD (3rd time in 28 years) and I'm looking at cleaning the crank and trans case. I remember somewhere (sometime) someone posted a resource for cleaning and sealing cases (external). It wasn't blasting or dipping.. it was some other chemical application. I seem to recall something about baking. And I understand that the memory is the 2nd thing to go... Does anyone remember where I might find this info?
